Assalamualaikum wbt….

Buat pengunjung blog/ website CAK Photography, mungkin belum terlambat lagi untuk saya wish happy new year 2011 walaupun dah 12 hari telah berlalu….masa zaman sekarang nih terlalu cepat berlalu.

Fuhhh....bukan senang nak jadikan kerjaya full time photographer rupanya, tapi syukur Alhamdulillah saya panjatkan kehadrat Allah swt, setelah dua tahun menjadi thukang tangkhap ghambar khawin, banyak yang telah saya lalui yang sedikit sebanyak mematangkan saya. Harapan tahun 2011 dengan berbekalkan pengalaman pahit manis sejak dari 2008, 2009 dan 2010 yang berbakul-bakul, saya akan sedaya upaya memperbaiki kelemahan diri yang lemah ini bagi menaikkan nama CAK Photography dalam bidang fotografi kahwin-kahwin nih.

Menjelang tahun 2011, CAK Photography disibukkan dengan Karnival Pengantin di Stadium Malawati, Shah Alam dan juga dua majlis perkahwinan yang masing-masing berlaku sekitar Shah Alam dan Gombak. Syukur -lah rezeki awal tahun. Semoga berterusan dan dapat dikongsikan bersama rakan-rakan seperjuangan.

Istimewa buat bakal pengantin, selain daripada menjamu mata dengan hasil kerja kami di blog/ website ni, temui dan kenali CAK Photography di ekspo, karnival, pameran pengantin yang akan diadakan sepanjang tahun 2011.

First of all, I would like to wish a blessing to both bride & groom for their marriage. It was a joyful session having Farha + Zukri as a client for Leprikon Pictures. It all start when I bought a new DSLR(Canon 7D) for CAK Photography future investment & I’m asking at my Facebook Wall if anybody got wedding job for the next day. Suddenly, Azral PM me & ask me if I want to tag along. So I just accept the offer & having a good time testing my new gadget. Celebrating "MERDEKA" 31st August 2010 at Indoor Stadium Bukit Jalil. Candid shot taken during the celebration. Since inside the stadium is fullhouse, I can't even take out my dslr even though I could see some of the formation at the big screen. very frustrating ;-(( Please-lah, this kind of event shouldn't be done in indoor stadium. The contingent already 5000 people and the stadium can only hold 15000. If one whole town Bukit Jalil come-lah, already pack like sardin can. wahahaha But anyway, good effort for those who involve in this parade. As Im a Malaysian, I'm very proud and syukur to be ever born in this country! Let's us rejoice the independence we have and hold it until the very end. I love you, MALAYSIA! MERDEKA! MERDEKA! Muslimah Portraiture Outing (Black & White)

A collection of beautiful girls wearing hijab portrait edited in black and white. This outing was organized by Focal Oblique group. I was invite by one of the model, Ida Cullen to shoot her with the other model at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa. Even though during fasting month I still eager to shoot and getting my new gear, Canon 70-200L f2.8 USM to get in action. So, here are the result. As my first time use, I really impress with the picture taken with this lens even though I'm not quite use with the heavy weight of this lens. Haiya...after this my hand will get more muscle-lah. hahaha. More picture will coming after this fasting month.

China Series 2: The Bund

Today, I managed to put some photos of the Bund, Shanghai. In Shanghai, you can take shanghai metro and exit at People Square. At this point, you should walk a little bit further along Nanjing Road. This will take about 20 minutes fast walk before arriving at the Bund. This historical place is a place with many historical building that represent other civilization. You can see the example of building at this blog. The Bund located in front of Huangpu river at Zhongshan road.

According to wikipedia: "The Bund" as a proper noun almost invariably refers to this stretch of embanked riverfront in Shanghai.

The Bund houses 52 buildings of various architectural styles such as Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Neo-Classical, Beaux-Arts, and Art Deco (Shanghai has one of the richest collections of Art Deco architectures in the world). Art Deco is an eclectic artistic and design style which had its origins in Paris in the first decades of the 20th century.

The Bund was famously featured in the novel Empire of the Sun by British author J.G. Ballard, based on his experiences as a boy during the Japanese invasion and occupation. The book was later made into a film by Steven Spielberg.

Taking the photos during night is somehow really hard due to unsufficient amount of light. This forced me to use gorilllapod , a small tripod that make me easier to use. The bigger tripod is really encouraged to bring because during night, this beautiful place is full of tourist and we need to raise the camera a little bit higher than human eye level. Hmm.. I think the easiest and the fastest way to take night shoots is using full frame camera. You know why? The full frame camera allow users due to tolerancy of camera when switching to high ISO. High ISO means we can take photos at more higher shutter speed. :D . If we don't have full frame camera, we should use sturdy tripod. This type of tripod will also make us ease to take night shoots fast.

This is my second time posting to this blog. My schedule with other works seems very busy because I just arrive at Shanghai, a place that use the language which I cannot understand. It is a little bit hard to live here without knowing the Chinese language but I will learn the language.

My feeling have been aroused to show this landmark of Shanghai, China to all of you. At here you can see one of the high tower of Shanghai, The Oriental Pearl Tower. It was build to the high of 468m and located at Lujiazui in Pudong district. The tower can be seen by the side of Huangpu river and The Bund. The best time to visit it is during morning and also late in the evening because that both times is known by photographer as the golden time (the best time). You can prove it by yourselves. Oh, between, forget to mention, at night the glimmering light will catch your eyes. I have seen it when the night comes. Try to imagine. :D

When you see the building at THE BUND, you can see it has historical timeline that streches until now. It had been a place for banks, UK, France, USA, Italy, Russia, Japan, Netherlands and Belgium. When you walk down to Nanjing Road near to THE BUND, you can see it is one of the busiest shopping streets in the world. I WILL SHOW THIS PLACE WITH MY PHOTOS LATER.

Hello friends,

Sorry to keep you waiting for so long to see my new photos during my stay at Shanghai, China

Last two weeks, I have a chance to go to Xujiahui using Shanghai Metro, it is totally different from LRT and Monorail KL. The public transport system is very awesome and have 13 lines. In KL, only have 3 lines that is Putra, Star and Monorail. Really frustrating for those who lives in KL.

If you don't have a car you still can move around Shanghai easily. It is different than Kuala Lumpur. You have a car but still cannot move so free around KL. You don't have a car, it is soo hard to go around in KL.

This cool environment have make me 'fallen in love' in Shanghai.

When arriving at Xujiahui, I can see on how the road and transport system differ from Kuala Lumpur. The road have more than 2 one way lines and it is 3 oneway lines excluding the motorbikes and bicyles way. Motorbikes, electric bicycle, tricycle, bicycle, electric motorbikes is one of main transport in shanghai.

This is Xujiahui, it is like Low Yatt in our country.. You can buy many computer, laptop and other equipment related to IT. It is hearts of computer enthusiasts.

You can see the public transport especially bus have a excellent system. At the bus stop, you can see which bus number will arrive at specific stop. You also can see the bus route at the bus stop. It is totally different from KL and even JB..

Next thing I went to is Nanjing road. At night, you can see it is full of people and full of colourful lights. It is like Bukit Bintang at KL. This is the attraction place for many foreigner tourist and also local people.
Oh, between, those photos is my house mates.

Today, this is the last day i see the beautiful sky of Malaysia. Tomorrow is the last morning I will see the last morning sky of malaysia.

Cuma aku nak highlight-kan kat sini, aku telah mengedit gambar kat atas nih untuk storybook pasangan pengantin nih. hu3 Kalo, korang perasan, editing aku ada kepelbagaian dari natural hinggalah penggunaan tona warna yang mampu menghasilkan mood pada gambar. Apa yang penting pada gambar pada tafsiran aku ialah,

"gambar yang dapat berinteraksi serta memberi kesan kepada

seseorang individu yang melihatnya adalah gambar yang baik dan berjaya"

Terpulang kepada masing-masing untuk memberi interpretasi terhadap sesuatu gambar. Jadi, pada sesiapa yang ingin mendapatkan sentuhan artistik Hafiz CAK pada storybook korang leh lar kontek aku ok :-)

Congratulation to newly wed couple Nurul & Azmi. Majlis pernikahan mereka berlangsung di Masjid Jamiatus Solahiah pada hari Sabtu lepas, 19hb Disember 2009. FYI, pasangan ini sangatlah romantik, sangat hormat menghormati dan oso suwit couple. Keluarga dan rakan Nurul & Azmi juga sangat warm welcome, dan selesa bekerja bersama. Hafiz CAK pun senang hati malah jadi lebih bersopan santun semasa mengambil gambar.

Salam semua,

Foto Impian serta beberapa Group Photo lain akan menganjurkan Bengkel Asas Fotografi kepada semua jurufoto yang baru berkecimpung dalam dunia fotografi.

Di akhir bengkel, peserta akan dapat memahirkan diri untuk mengawal dan mengagak penggunaan exposure kamera serta mempelajari teknik asas wireless flash untuk Nikon, Canon dan Sony dan banyak lagi. Modul yang disediakan adalah lengkap, lebih mudah difahami dibantu oleh fasilitator, lebih banyak praktikal serta akan diberi motivasi untuk keyakinan berfotografi kerana latihan dalam suasana sebenar! Sesi sokongan selepas kursus melalui FB atau perjumpaan secara individu.

Bonus: Peserta akan mempelajari teknik asas editing gambar menggunakan Adobe LightRoom - perisian 'wajib' untuk semua jurufoto.

Keperluan yang perlu ada semasa menghadiri bengkel:

1. Kamera dan Flash
2. Laptop (jika ada)
3. Alat tulis

Sila bawa peralatan tambahan lain seperti extension wayer kerana kemungkinan plug untuk penggunaan laptop tidak mencukupi. Digalakkan membawa card reader.

Bengkel akan diadakan di salah sebuah Resort terkemuka di Bagan Lalang, Sepang, Selangor yang mana ianya terletak ditepi pantai. Konsep bengkel adalah bercuti sambil menimba ilmu. Sijil Penyertaan akan diberikan. Nota, tips dan pelbagai maklumat fotografi dalam bentuk digital akan diberikan.

Perkahwinan ini berlangsung pada 29 November 2009 dengan menyaksikan pasangan ini diijab qabulkan oleh tok qadi yang sporting abis pada pukul 11:50 pagi. Abdullah telah memiliki Nazatul dengan sekali lafaz. Alhamdulillah, sekali lagi aku melihat sepasang suami isteri selamat disatukan. Aku hanya doakan yang pasangan ini akan bebahagia buat selama nya. Semoga ALLAH merahmati pasangan ini. Majlis perkahwinan semuanya berjalan lancar. Perjalanan aku ke Cheras Awana pada hari pertama pon lancar, hari kedua pon sama. Bak kata pengantin perempuan, urusan perkahwinan nya banyak dipermudahkan. Alhamdulillah.

Pada hari Sabtu 7 November 2009 lepas, tugasan fotografi kali ni membawa aku ke SMK Seri Keramat untuk Majlis Graduasi Tingkatan 5. Seramai 152 orang pelajar tingkatan 5 akan menamatkan persekolahan di sekolah ini dan akan menduduki SPM pada penghujung November ini. Good Luck dan All the Best buat warga tingkatan 5 SMK Seri Keramat. Cukuplah repekan kat atas tuh, sekarang enjoice dengan gambar sepanjang majlis yang berlangsung dan tataplah kenangan terindah korang di SMK Seri Keramat! CAK!

Buat kali kedua outing sebegini aku meng-follow-kan diri dengan angkatan fotografer dari jajahan ampang untuk menangkap model-model yang menghuru-harakan Kuala Lumpur. Hahaha Kesian korang kena baca repekan aku. Sebab ada masa kelapangan pada diri ini, se awal 9 pagi, dengan Yamaha Ego aku merempit merentasi Kuala Lumpur ke tempat berkumpul di Central Market. Seperti dijanjikan aku sampai lewat, hahaha Bila sampai ingat diorang dah panas kan enjin, skali masing-masing masih mamai. Kamera pon dok dalam bag ag. Detail outing ari tu lebih kurang macam nih;

As I have mention before, last weekend I have been asked to be a facilitator for Adobe Lightroom Course at Kota Kinabalu. Even though it was "bidan terjun" invitation, but I have been really enjoying my time spending at KK. There were 15 participants for this course. Hurm, quite a few. Info Pengantin 001: Pemberian Hantaran Mengikut Adat Melayu

Sedikit info berkenaan tradisi hantaran masa lampau yang mempengaruhi hantaran kita masa kini. Sebenarnya, tidak banyak beza dari segi hantaran wajib, cuma terdapat kelainan pada hadiah iringan yang kini kita boleh lihat telah dipelbagaikan mengikut kehendak pasangan pengantin.

Pada zaman dulu, adat menghantar tanda atau merisik dan adat menghantar mas kahwin dan belanja dilakukan oleh pihak lelaki. Biasanya, akan dibawa bersama cincin emas atau berlian. Bukan Zhulian ya. Tanda itu biasanya akan diiringi pula dengan hadiah lain buat pengantin perempuan seperti kain sarung, selipar, kasut, gula-gula, buah-buahan dsb.
Penghantaran tanda biasanya disertai dengan majlis kenduri kendara oleh kedua-dua belah keluarga. Terdapat juga perarakan yang berlansung ke rumah pengantin perempuan sambil membawa hantaran cincin dan hadiah yang lain.
Penerimaan cincin dan hadiah perkahwinan adalah hasil persetujuan syarat perkahwinan kedua-dua belah pihak.
Jika lelaki itu, atas apa-apa alasan gagal untuk mengahwini anak perempuan yang telah ditunangkan, cincin pertunangan serta hadiah yang lain tidak boleh dituntut semula.
Jika perempuan itu, atas apa-apa alasan kecuali kematian, gagal memenuhi tujuan pertunangan itu, maka semua hadiah termasuk cincin pertunangan harus dikembalikan kepada lelaki pada kadar sekali ganda, baik dari segi nilai atau bilangannya.
Wang mas kahwin dan belanja (ada yang menyerahkan wang mas kahwin terus ke tangan isteri selepas selesai upacara aqad nikah) yang diletakkan di dalam dulang atau batil bertudung yang diperbuat daripada perak atau tembaga.

1. Reception Ida + Safar berlangsung pada 16, 17hb Oktober 2009 di kediaman Ida, Seremban. Event nie sgt uniq kerana ramai rakan dan taulan 1 Malaysia dtg memeriahkan suasana. Cina India dan Melayu sama-sama duduk, makan di bawah satu bumbung. Aku rasa seronok sangat shoot event yg mempunyai unsur-unsur perpaduan sebegini.
